Pancakes and politics
the Carillon
Three candidates from the Regina Wascana area came to the University of Regina to strut their stuff after the Students' Union pancake breakfast.
James Rybchuk of the Canadian Alliance, Ralph Goodale of the Liberals, and Garth Ormiston of the NDP all gathered in the Multipurpose Room in the Riddell Centre for the event, hoping to catch the pancake crowd before the students rushed off to class.
Rybchuk started out by criticising the present Liberal government and claiming that their term has been characterized by "lies."
"They are lies that our Prime Minister has told to our face," said Rybchuk.
