News: New centre open at U of R Sports: Cougars prey on Huskies

The University of Regina has a new centre on campus aimed at creating a positive attitude and providing resources to the community.
The existing GBLUR club at the university has been upgraded to the LGBT2A Centre, which stands for Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Trans-Gendered, Two-Spirited, and Alliances at the University of Regina.

Blaine Sautner, new coach of the Cougar men’s hockey team, thinks his system will help return the Cougars to the top of the food chain in Canada West Hockey.
But after his team dropped a 7-0 drubbing at the hands of the University of Saskatchewan Huskies in Saskatoon the night of Friday, Sept. 16, Sautner couldn’t have imagined the Cougars would return the favor and beat the Huskies 5-3 on Saturday night at the Sherwood Twins arena.

Lots of hardcore musicians cite bands in their scene as influences. When a hardcore act claims Radiohead as one of their influences, though, you know that the band is a little bit different. Boston, Mass. hardcore outfit Bane are one of those bands.
“When Pete [Chilton, the bassist] and I first talked about [the layout] we mentioned the Radiohead video [for ‘Just’],” said frontman Aaron Bedard. “We thought it was really cool where the dude was laying in the street and you were trying to find out what he said to everybody.”

Animals are tasty. If they didn’t want me to eat them they would stop being so tasty.
I make no apologies for my carnivorous habits. Humans are designed to be omnivores. We have eyeteeth for the tearing of flesh and molars for the mandibular mastication of meat (that means chewing). Why would you want to go against something as natural as being born with teeth that exist solely for eating of meat?
