As students of the University of Regina we not only have the privilege of encouraging change, we have the responsibility to be active in this process. That is to say, we have the duty not only to ourselves as students, but to those students who will follow in our educational footsteps and especially to those students who struggle for the right to education in light of oppression and victimization.

Ever since I first noticed that they were building a link to the Education building I have been fuming inside. Though I am unsure of the dollar amount attached to this project, I assume it happens to be a lot more than a toque or pair of gloves. Yet there is the university, shelling out student's tuition money so everything can be linked and nobody has to worry about the cold.
