Landmines reflect the primal, evil nature that is within mankind. Land mines are meant to be used in times of conflict to maim and slow another's army. There are many different kinds of land mines. The most common type however is the anti-personnel mine. An anti-personnel mine is designed not to kill but to maim. Probably one of the most famous land mines is the "Bouncing Betty."

I realized something on the way to Moose Jaw last Tuesday, and it had a lot to do with Tom Jones. Yes, the old singer guy, who had a moderate hit in the 60s with "She's a Lady." A song that really doesn't stand the test of time, that one is. Only, it wasn't Tom Jones singing it on the bus to the open Board of Governors (BoG) meeting in Moose Jaw.
